**Key Responsibilities**
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the upstate New York market
* Expand existing relationships with current clients and increase sales revenue
* Follow up on potential leads and convert them into sales
* Monitor industry trends and identify emerging markets to develop plans for revenue growth
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and regional suppliers to create a partnership that positions the company as the primary distributor of choice
* Attend quarterly business reviews with suppliers to understand the business outlook and opportunities
* Conduct client product training and ensure that customers are satisfied with the products and services provided
* Maintain market awareness on competitor activities, industry trends, and new concepts to identify potential opportunities for company growth
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering and/or component sales
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently with little to no direction and travel up to 50% of the time
