Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at UPS. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our package handling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including AC and DC systems, motors, reducers, and conveyor belts.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment, including conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks, including repairing and replacing equipment and components.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including control stations, fuses, motor starters, and relays.
Requirements
  • Strong Electrical Background: Must have a strong electrical background and be able to pass an electrical assessment.
  • Availability: Must be available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in a 24 x 7 operation.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and materials.

  • Competitive Pay: Starting pay is $38.02 per hour, with the potential to reach $40.37 per hour after two years.
