Marine Electrical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on ships and in shipyards.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and hook up electrical equipment and systems
- Lay out, pull, and install cable and conduit
- Test electrical equipment and systems
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
- Two years of marine electrical experience and/or four years of electrical experience
- Ability to use power and hand tools and read composite blueprints, computer printouts, and Navy standards manuals
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and be available to work any shift
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and hear warning signals
As a Marine Electrician, you will work in a fast-paced shipyard environment with exposure to fumes, odors, dust, gases, and varying temperatures. You will also be exposed to constantly moving machines and mechanical parts and high levels of constant noise.
