Position Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining modern automated equipment. This role requires expertise in electrical and electronic systems, as well as basic mechanical repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PLC operations, programming, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete high-quality electrical and electronic maintenance work.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production or processing equipment, with a focus on modern automated systems.
  • Analyze complex problems and implement proper remedies safely.
  • Perform minor mechanical work on breakdowns to reduce downtime.
  • Assist with installations and adapt to new and changing technology.
  • Collaborate with other divisions of the Maintenance department as needed.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in the industrial field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electronic, electrical, and programming principles used in automated processes.
  • Knowledge of PLC operations and programming is strongly desired.
  • Experience with basic industrial electronics, VFD setup, and electrical distribution device fundamentals.
  • Ability to work independently and improve knowledge and skills in new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to act professionally in high-pressure situations.
