Apogee Integration LLC is seeking a highly skilled Image Scientist to join our team. As a key contributor, you will perform image analysis and data characterization and trending, developing and applying tools to provide analytical insights.
This is a challenging role that requires expertise in remote sensing, image science, signal processing, and systems engineering. If you have a strong background in computer science, mathematics, or a related STEM field, and experience with MATLAB, Python, and testing, we encourage you to apply.
As an Image Scientist at Apogee, you will work independently or lead small teams to generate and deliver study plans, VV&T plans, and reports. You will also present final reports and presentations to customers.
Responsibilities- Perform analysis on imagery, spectral imaging, metadata, and systems in support of trade studies and performance characterization
- Provide system performance monitoring, verification, validation, and test (VV&T), and fault isolation
- Work independently or lead small teams to generate and deliver study plans, VV&T plans, and reports
- Present final reports and presentations to customers
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Image Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related STEM program
- Experience in: Remote Sensing, Image Science, Signal Processing, MATLAB, Python, Systems Engineering, Testing, VV&T
