MRI Technologist
Location: Roswell, NM
Experience Required: 1-3 years

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (early release for training/meetings)
  • No weekends, nights, or shift work.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. This role involves performing MRI scans, ensuring image quality, and maintaining patient safety and comfort. The position offers a positive work environment with no shift work, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (minimum) and accredited Radiology program completion.
  • National registration with ARRT and New Mexico state license.
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification.
  • 3-5 years of MRI experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures following physician protocols.
  • Position patients for accurate imaging and ensure safety.
  • RI equipment and maintain quality control.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records during scanning.
  • Recognize abnormalities in images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Explain MRI procedures to patients and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
