Job Description

The Capture Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the analysis of high-value federal government contract pursuits for Strategic Resolution Experts (SRE) brand and capabilities. This position will serve as a resource across SRE's corporate operations, focusing on the analysis and maintenance of the business development pipeline. The ideal candidate will be motivated by exploring new aspects of business operations and process improvement while supporting continued business growth by developing winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate critical capture information.
  • Provide business development intelligence to industry C-level executives, business development teams, and service delivery professionals.
  • Participate in delivering time-sensitive intelligence.
  • Conduct market research regarding new business opportunities.
  • Review and analyze solicitation documentation as part of the opportunity analysis and proposal development process.
  • Attend industry events regarding upcoming opportunities and support the business development and capture team in the analysis of presented information.
  • Drive new business opportunity-level competitive positioning assessments.
  • Leverage quantitative and/or qualitative rigor to transform competitive and customer information into insights.
  • Synthesize, intuit, and effectively communicate findings into options, profitability implications, and/or business cases.
  • Contribute to our mission of providing customized, accurate, real-time capture intelligence, uniquely available with SRE.
  • Support SRE's business development and capture processes and practices by ensuring pipeline data is consistently updated and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are documented and maintained.
  • Support various proposal development activities, such as resume formatting, compliance reviews, and coordination with teaming partners.
  • Maintain and continually enhance SRE's pipeline management platform, collaborating with stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for improvement and performing the necessary modifications to make new capabilities available to end-users.
  • Support various inter-departmental projects and initiatives as an extension of business development and capture.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in the areas of data collection and analysis, business acquisition, contract solicitation, business development, or capture operations.
  • Knowledge of research techniques used in collecting, tabulating, evaluating, and presenting data.
  • Knowledge of business development and capture methods and practices.
  • Knowledge of analytical procedures and techniques used in organizing and conducting research and analyses of business development and capture operations.
  • Knowledge of word processing, database, spreadsheet, and graphic computer software applications.
  • Skill in, and advanced expertise, with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and SharePoint.
  • Skill in creating and improving processes.
  • Skill in business acumen.
  • Skill in technical writing and presenting.
  • Skill in defining problems, conducting research, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and formulating recommendations.
  • Skill in conducting market research regarding new business opportunities.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Ability to be well-organized and self-directed.
  • Ability to conduct phone calls with high-ranking government personnel.
  • Ability to review and analyze solicitation documentation.
  • Ability to resolve business development and capture problems by applying various methodologies and deciding between several alternative solutions.
  • Ability to apply and demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide guidance and accurate information.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations, special studies, and project reports.
  • Ability to maintain a harmonious and effective working relationship with SRE employees and federal contracting industry staff.
  • Ability to develop and execute a work plan for business development and capture operations and projects, including establishing and/or recommending goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work well with groups and executive-level decision-makers within the federal contracting industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, including making presentations to C-level executives.
  • Ability to uphold high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.

Preferred Experience: Professional GovWin experience.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $59,000 - $100,000/year.

Work Environment: The primary work location of this position is Washington D.C. Metro area, remote work is allowed but not guaranteed.
