Job Summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and projects that support and improve the provision of quality, cost-effective, and compassionate patient care in our assigned units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess learning needs of staff and provide opportunities for ongoing education and professional development.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and projects to support network goals and objectives.
  • Provide clinical support and mentorship for hospital staff, promoting excellence in patient care and clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with patient, family, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and change of the healthcare delivery system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid RN license issued by the state in which you are working (NJ/PA); MSN preferred.
  • Two to five years of recent clinical experience in critical care/progressive care, and/or ED settings preferred.
  • Demonstrated success as a nurse preceptor and experience in the education specialist role/nursing education preferred.
