Position Overview

The Ski School Support Staff plays a vital role in a dynamic indoor/outdoor setting, assisting with various aspects of ski and snowboard school operations, excluding instruction. This position involves significant guest interaction, particularly in children's programming, rental services, guest check-in/out, lesson scanning, and managing lift operations in lesson areas.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: Potentially Available
  • Expected Pay Range: $21.36 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time and Part Time
  • Skill Level: Entry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily reservations and sales using resort operating systems.
  • Set up and dismantle indoor facilities daily, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Comply with health code regulations regarding facility cleanliness, including common areas and equipment.
  • Maintain a tidy facility that accommodates high guest volumes.
  • Engage with young children to facilitate appropriate games and activities in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Adhere to corporate policies regarding safety equipment while skiing/riding or assisting with lessons.
  • Model and uphold safety standards within the department, contributing to a culture of health and safety.
  • Assist with snack and lunch service, including food distribution and clean-up as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills with a diverse range of guests and staff.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing and data entry.
  • Experience in early childhood care is preferred.
  • Previous skiing or snowboarding experience is advantageous.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

The expected pay range is $21.36. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this role, with individual decisions based on various factors.
