We are seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer focused on the Maritime sector. This role involves tackling complex challenges and contributing to transformative advancements in defense technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Integration:
Conduct comprehensive vehicle platform system design and analysis, generate design reviews, and create system verification plans. Support the integration of various subsystems into fully operational Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) while developing integration pathways and success criteria. - Testing:
Develop and implement thorough test plans, lead troubleshooting and maintenance initiatives, and ensure meticulous documentation of all testing processes. - Quality Assurance:
Establish and uphold quality assurance practices, ensure compliance with configuration control and safety standards, and implement effective product support programs. - Program Support:
Act as a vital stakeholder for Department of Defense initiatives, collaborate with external partners, and contribute technical content to proposals.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical engineering principles, as well as control theory.
- Experience in field testing environments.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings proficiently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Possession of a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
