SAP Supply Chain Application Specialist

Location:
Remote options available, with proximity to key offices preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance software applications.


Translate business needs from functional specifications into technical requirements for development, application evaluation, configuration, testing, and necessary change management documentation.

Provide support to end users for specific software applications.

Identify opportunities to optimize application support activities for more efficient, timely, and cost-effective results.

Deliver technical support for software applications within your area of responsibility.

Create user documentation and participate in user training as required.

Assist in resolving complex data and application challenges.

Contribute to the design, delivery, and enhancement of software applications.


Stay informed on software applications within your scope to ensure the highest level of service and support.

Obtain any necessary certifications to effectively support applications in scope.

Mentor colleagues to enhance their capabilities.

Document troubleshooting instructions for continuous improvement.

Enhance team efficiency in problem resolution.

Remote work is possible, but candidates should reside near key office locations.

Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field; plus 3 years of experience in the role or SAP ABAP development.


Proficiency in SQL, SDLC, middleware (ESB or EDI), SAP ABAP proxies, ABAP programming language, ABAP reports, or ABAP user exits, and ABAP interfaces (BAPI, BADI, or IDOC).


Experience in SAP application development:

ERP (ECC), functional modules (SD, MM, or FICO), interfaces (SOAP, REST, IDOC, or FILE), tools (Scripts, Smart Forms, or Adobe Forms), NetWeaver, and LSMW.
