Job Summary

The Banquet Food Server Extra Board is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests by serving food and beverage orders, and assembling food orders. They possess a thorough knowledge of all menu items available on the buffet line and provide accurate information to guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests at their table with a warm welcome and take beverage orders.
  • Take guests' food and beverage orders, using a tray, and regularly check tables for drink refills.
  • Continuously check tables in assigned sections to remove dirty dishes when it is apparent that guests have completed eating from their plates.
  • Perform related tasks as required.
  • Be available for scheduled work.
  • Exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.
Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
  • Have three to six months of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel, or casino atmosphere.
  • Possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, Liquor License, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
  • Be able to effectively communicate in English.
  • Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
