About the Role

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, Cardiopulmonary Unit, Oncology/Transplant Unit, and Surgical/Trauma Unit.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure.
  • Certification in specialty preferred.
  • Strongly encouraged to complete life-saving education specific to specialty area.
