Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under general supervision.
- Assess patient parameters and performance during procedures.
- Make value judgments pertaining to patient condition and safety.
- Associates degree in Science with a major in Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience.
- Registration with the National Board of Cardio Vascular Testing preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) within 6 months of hire for employees working in adult setting or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (PALS) within 1 year of hire for employees working in pediatric setting.
