Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will assist physicians in the Electrophysiology laboratory during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implants.

Responsibilities
  • Operate various equipment needed to monitor blood pressure, oxygen level, electrocardiograms, pressure in chambers and vessels in the heart.
  • Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and pacemaker follow-up in clinic.
  • Collect and interpret data from electrophysiology studies.
  • Assist physicians in the Electrophysiology laboratory during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implants.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician Program.
  • One to two years experience in the cardiology field, including performance measurement of intra-cardiac recordings and pacemaker analyses.
