Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in flow cytometry and sorting platforms, with a strong background in immunology, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, and statistics. This role involves collaborative efforts across multiple scientific teams, leading and training individuals, and proactive contributions to foster a cohesive scientific community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary scientists and team members to plan, execute, troubleshoot, and support assays in our drug development platforms.
  • Interface with external collaborators and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to coordinate project proposals, plans, and study execution, including data and sample acquisition, sourcing of reagents, transfer of assays, and related operational activities.
  • Develop and author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), develop internal study report templates, author, edit, and review scientific reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design, develop, and transfer assays for use with internal assets in the nonhuman primate model and clinically, with expertise in flow cytometry.
  • Facilitate internal operational activities, including shipping and receiving, sample and reagent management, inventory, study planning, forecasting, scheduling, and coordination.

Requirements

  • PhD or PharmD or MD with relevant post-doc experience, where applicable.
  • Expertise in multiparametric flow cytometry assays, including multicolor phenotyping of immune cells, receptor occupancy, and immune-based functional assays.
  • Experience implementing flow cytometry techniques to generate orthogonal data and controls for new areas of interrogation.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, with strong verbal and written communication skills, high motivation, creativity, and collaborative qualities.
  • Previous experience working in a matrixed environment to implement biomarker assay development.
  • Project management skills to meet critical timelines associated with various activities necessary to support biomarker assessment of preclinical samples.
  • Demonstrated track record of critical independent thinking, troubleshooting ability, and innovative approaches to solve complex questions through high-impact publications.
  • Competency with flow cytometry analysis software such as FACSDiva, FlowJo, FCS Express.
  • Competency with data analysis software such as Graphpad Prism.
  • Experience with electronic lab notebook (ELN) platforms such as Benchling or Dotmatics.
  • Experience in cell culture and cell isolation techniques.
  • Experience with lab operational activities.

What We Offer

Inograft Biotherapeutics offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with a salary range of $140,000 to $180,000. The actual salary may vary based on various factors, including experience level, knowledge, relevant skills, and qualifications.
