Acceler8 Talent Seeks Founding AI Research Scientist


We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate AI Research Scientist to join our pioneering team as a Founding Member. This role offers both junior and senior opportunities, allowing individuals at different stages of their career to contribute to groundbreaking projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop extensive systems comprising interconnected Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi-Modal Models (MMMs), and Reinforcement Learning (RL) models.
  • Structure data appropriately for training purposes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Utilize both open-source and closed-source models to build innovative solutions, leveraging expertise in complex AI domains.
  • Construct models with a keen understanding of constraints and requirements, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and execute innovative search and retrieval algorithms within this domain, pushing the boundaries of technology.
  • Create thorough model evaluations to ensure optimal performance, driving data-driven decision making.
  • Address challenging engineering constraints such as latency and costly model inference, ensuring seamless integration.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated exceptional data engineering and AI ability through: Publications in top AI conferences and competitions.
  • Previous experience at AI companies and research labs, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Implementation of research papers into production code, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Hands-on experience in complex ML domains, driving data-driven decision making.
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering, with a strong understanding of hardware and software interactions.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with code generation models (LLM/NLP/Reinforcement Learning), driving innovation and excellence.
  • Passion for tackling 0 to 1 challenges head-on, driving innovation and excellence.


Senior Opening:


  • Strong intuition and experience in training models, driving data-driven decision making.
  • Background in hardware, particularly experience with semiconductor chips (hardware acceleration backgrounds are highly valued).
  • 3-4 years of industry experience in training ML models, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Comfortable with a senior staff level role, focused on managing a small team, driving innovation and excellence.
  • 100% hands-on involvement, excited about being an individual contributor, driving innovation and excellence.
