Job Title: Commercial Loan Assistant I

Idaho First Bank is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Assistant I to join our team. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Commercial Loan Officers to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review all account documentation pertinent to loans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review loan files to ensure all collateral has been properly secured and update collateral values as needed.
  • Coordinate and gather all documents required for tracking and documentation purposes.
  • Verify real estate taxes on real estate loans and correspond with customers as assigned.
  • Review commercial account activity and issues on a regular basis with Loan Officers.
  • Cover phone calls and customer meetings as necessary and keep manager informed of all activities within the department.
  • Set appointments for Loan Officers as needed and promote the bank's products and services.
  • Build and maintain positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and co-workers.
  • Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflow.
  • Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
  • Comply with all department and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) year of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiar with banking regulations and responsibilities relating to each, including a working knowledge of UCC titles, mortgages, liens, and other aspects of the loan collateral position.
