Position Overview:

As a Customs Compliance Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring our organization adheres to international customs regulations while managing daily trade compliance functions. Your responsibilities will encompass import and export classification, sanctions assessments, Partner Government Agency (PGA) inquiries, and meticulous recordkeeping. Depending on your experience and the team's needs, you may also engage in larger scale projects.

You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team operating from our corporate office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Export Commodity Control Numbers to classify company products accurately.
  • Support daily trade compliance processes for US import and export activities, ensuring efficient customs clearance.
  • Oversee the classification and management of various export activities.
  • Conduct daily screenings against the Sanctioned Party List (SPL).
  • Ensure proper recordkeeping and management of compliance documentation.
  • Engage in product and part research, collaborating with engineers, external suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects related to Trade Compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Trade Compliance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Trade Compliance or a similar field.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity with SAP/GTS.
  • Licensed Customs Broker or actively pursuing a Customs Broker License.
