Key Responsibilities
  • Support development, review, and approval of DoDI acquisition documents
  • Review and approve product and end item requirements
  • Support review of system performance engineering specifications and system interface control documents
  • Support review of product risk development and mitigation activities
  • Support review and approval of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), System Engineering Plans (SEP), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Cybersecurity Strategy Plans, and Acquisition Strategy Plans
  • Support program reviews, system engineering technical reviews, and technical interchange meetings with the government and suppliers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 8 years' experience in systems engineering, product development, or a related field
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience with DoD systems engineering concepts, execution of systems engineering technical reviews, and verification and validation testing
  • Knowledge of requirements management using DOORS and risk management using Project Recon or similar tool
  • Familiarity with DoDI Defense Acquisition System regulations and DAU weapon system development process
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working in an Army Product or Project Manager organization

Travel up to 10% of the time.
