  • Material Handling: Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, locate, stack, and count materials.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload trailers, moving materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
  • Inventory Management: Transport products or materials to designated locations in the facility.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and complete orders for shipment according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship).
  • Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of shipment orders and documentation.
  • Inspection and Reporting: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the shipping team to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards.
  • Inventory Control: Assist with inventory control, including conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure accurate placement and tracking of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary shipping and receiving documentation accurately and timely.
  • Reporting: Report any damages, shortages, or other discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Valid forklift certification, with experience operating stand-up forklifts.
  • Experience: Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Math and Computer Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
