Role OverviewWe're seeking a Platform Product Manager with a broad understanding of AWS architecture and expertise in one of our core platform disciplines. You will help guide the platform product vision and strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide a unified roadmap for our platform.
Key Responsibilities- Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the platform product vision and strategies.
- Discovery: Understand stakeholder needs through qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Brainstorming: Partner with engineering counterparts to develop solutions to meet customer needs.
- Roadmap Management: Prioritize critical issues and work with engineering counterparts to establish realistic delivery timeframes.
- Success Metrics: Define product success metrics and work with engineering to ensure they are measurable and relevant.
- Launch Management: Plan and manage the launch of new capabilities.
- Communication: Lead communication efforts for product launches and roadmap updates.
- Evangelization: Promote platform achievements and deliverables to drive awareness and adoption.
- Vendor Management: Participate in vendor selection and evaluation processes.
