Job Summary

Pieper Electric is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, and other electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand and power tools
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Ensures new work and repairs of existing work adhere to current electrical codes
  • Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions
Requirements
  • High school diploma/equivalent required; Journeyman Certificate and/or Master Electrician License preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years previous electrical experience, OR completion of a federally approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance and 2 years electrical experience
  • Positive safety attitude and personal integrity - both are non-negotiable
  • Willing to drive a service van
  • Clean history at DMV
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electrical systems
  • Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components
