We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Specialist to join our team at GPAC. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support and maintenance for various equipment.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

About the Job:

Gpac partners with clients to provide high-quality automation products and services. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment at customer locations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain equipment at customer locations.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues, including robotics and control systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Provide training and support to customers on equipment usage.
  • Keep accurate service records and reports.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, Mori Seiki), Siemens controls
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
  • Technical training or degree in Engineering (or similar field).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
