Job Summary
Med-Trans Corporation is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing preventive maintenance and repairs on our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on company vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
- Assist other technicians as needed.
- Operate company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe practices.
- Complete all required paperwork neatly, correctly, and on time.
- Use maintenance database to document all completed tasks/job assignments.
- Attend all mandatory fleet training.
- Perform all other duties as requested by Shop Foreman or Shop Lead Mechanic.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must have a current valid driver's license.
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper/Associate experience.
- 2 ASE or equivalent Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering/Suspension.
- MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
- 2 consecutive satisfactory yearly performance appraisals.
