Financial Services Manager

The Finance Manager at Sewell plays a vital role in assisting new and used car buyers with their financing and protection needs. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with financial lenders to acquire approvals and funding for customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Communicate all problem deals to management immediately.
- Address missing stipulations communicated from lenders immediately.
- Adhere to a standard of professional ethics and be respectful to customers.
- Knowledgeable in state regulations regarding finance and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Interact with appropriate departments to structure deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines.
- Perform credit interviews, prepare credit applications, and verify accuracy of all material information.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and disclose financial information to customers.
- Sell credit insurance and service contracts, and maintain good lender relations.
- Evaluate new lender programs and maintain a lender guide of programs currently used.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and use written, electronic, and verbal communications.
- Valid in-state driver's license.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication, organization, computer, and math skills.
- Bilingual is a plus.
In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, complete background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
