Responsibilities:

Your Key Duties Include:

  • Remaining alert and attentive while stationed at designated posts.
  • Monitoring alarm systems and access controls, responding promptly according to established protocols.
  • Conducting regular patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the property.
  • Observing CCTV feeds and utilizing communication devices to ensure safety.
  • Implementing procedures to manage access and maintain a secure environment for all associates.
  • Documenting incidents and preparing written reports as necessary.
  • Upholding a professional appearance at all times.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Adhering to all company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience with military, law enforcement, or private security training (Required)
  • Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment in daily operations and emergencies (Required)
  • Competence in preparing reports and correspondence following proper formatting and language conventions.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and concisely.
  • Willingness to work various shifts and conduct foot patrols both inside and outside.
  • Visual acuity to monitor surroundings and read various documents.
  • Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and perform self-defense if necessary. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to hear alarms and observe security monitors effectively.
  • Professional attire is required, including maintaining company-provided uniforms.
  • Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to security-related software.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is mandatory.

Work Environment:

  • This role involves working in both indoor and outdoor settings. You may be required to remain stationary for extended periods while performing desk duties or monitoring security equipment, as well as conducting foot patrols. Flexibility in hours may be necessary during busy periods or special events, and you will be expected to work outside in various weather conditions.

  • No travel is required for this position.
