Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data center support group, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper configuration and maintenance of SAN/NAS systems, backup systems, and datacenter security. You will also provide daily monitoring and support administration for IT Systems and infrastructure, as well as manage development/sustainment, staging, production systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot servers and applications.
  • Manage all aspects of SAN technologies in a highly virtualized and converged environment.
  • Maintain high availability datacenter operations.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or 7 years of progressive experience in system administration.
  • Experience with SAN technologies, Microsoft O365, VMWare vSphere and NsX-T, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Sec+ CE certification.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash or Python).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Source Code Repository system (preferably GitLab), CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), STIGS, testing patches, certificates, and encryption.
  • Configuring SolarWinds for alerting and monitoring.
