Human Resources/Staffing Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources/Staffing Coordinator to join our team at HC&N Healthcare Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff recruitment and hiring policies, developing and maintaining effective administrative procedures, and providing counsel on HR matters to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Recruitment and Hiring: Manage staff recruitment and hiring policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a high level of staff satisfaction.
  • Administrative Procedures: Develop, maintain, and communicate effective and efficient administrative procedures for personnel matters, including employee inquiries and grievances.
  • HR Counseling: Provide counsel on HR matters to the Executive Director, senior management, and the Board of Directors to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Staff Supervision: Directly supervise HR staff members to ensure effective team management and performance.
  • Staff Communication: Create events, systems, and processes to enhance staff communication, interaction, development, and training.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Work with all departments concerning staff and employment-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Record Keeping: Develop and maintain records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Benefits Analysis: Analyze current benefit plans and explore new benefit program options to ensure competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Employee Onboarding: Prepare materials for and implement new employee orientations, performance and salary reviews, and exit interviews.
  • HR Best Practices: Keep current on HR practices and concepts and maintain an effective network of HR professionals to ensure best-in-class HR services.
  • Staff Scheduling: Organize and facilitate All-Staff events and quarterly on-boarding sessions to promote a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of Human Resources/Staffing experience in long term care required.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including an ability to resolve disputes and maintain confidentiality; must have a high level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding ability to interact effectively with managers, supervisors, and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Must have excellent Microsoft Word skills and be proficient with Excel.
  • Problem-Solving: Must possess strong multi-tasking capabilities and be willing to take a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
