Role Overview

The Territory Operations Manager (TOM) is responsible for overseeing service delivery within the designated region, focusing on supporting clients in the technology sector. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of business operations, enabling the TOM to monitor performance, implement strategies, and ensure successful outcomes for both HTEC and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-sales Engagement
  1. Educate internal teams about service offerings, capabilities, and value propositions to enhance collaboration.
  2. Work closely with sales leadership to develop quality proposals and contracts that meet client needs.
  3. Assist in managing service opportunities, ensuring effective pricing and resource planning.
Leadership and Team Management
  1. Guide service delivery teams by articulating strategic goals and fostering a collaborative environment.
  2. Act as a liaison between regional leaders and service delivery teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  3. Address service delivery challenges and represent the region in leadership discussions.
Financial Oversight
  1. Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the region, optimizing profitability and resource allocation.
  2. Monitor financial metrics and implement actions to mitigate risks and enhance performance.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to forecast financial outcomes and align strategies.
Project Support and Quality Assurance
  1. Provide feedback on service delivery performance and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  2. Monitor project performance and compliance with operational standards and best practices.
  3. Collaborate with project management teams to address changes and contract modifications.
Operational Excellence
  1. Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements to service delivery.
  2. Promote innovative service delivery models and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Gather regional insights to inform leadership on resource and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in service delivery management within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting processes and compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in service management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
