Role Overview
The Territory Operations Manager (TOM) is responsible for overseeing service delivery within the designated region, focusing on supporting clients in the technology sector. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of business operations, enabling the TOM to monitor performance, implement strategies, and ensure successful outcomes for both HTEC and its clients.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-sales Engagement- Educate internal teams about service offerings, capabilities, and value propositions to enhance collaboration.
- Work closely with sales leadership to develop quality proposals and contracts that meet client needs.
- Assist in managing service opportunities, ensuring effective pricing and resource planning.
- Guide service delivery teams by articulating strategic goals and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Act as a liaison between regional leaders and service delivery teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Address service delivery challenges and represent the region in leadership discussions.
- Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the region, optimizing profitability and resource allocation.
- Monitor financial metrics and implement actions to mitigate risks and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with various departments to forecast financial outcomes and align strategies.
- Provide feedback on service delivery performance and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Monitor project performance and compliance with operational standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with project management teams to address changes and contract modifications.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements to service delivery.
- Promote innovative service delivery models and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Gather regional insights to inform leadership on resource and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in service delivery management within the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of government contracting processes and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in service management.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful project outcomes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
