Job Title: Territory Manager

The L.S. Starrett Company is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join our team. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales in our Illinois, Iowa, and Lake County, Indiana territories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to optimize sales performance and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor channel partners and end-user customers.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in the automotive, electronics, aerospace, energy, construction, food packaging, medical, metal working, and manufacturing industries.
  • Provide technical support, product training, and problem resolution to distributor partners and end-users.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-8 years of proven sales experience in a territory management, consultative-based sales role.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distributor-focused sales environments.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, technical aptitude, and ability to qualify customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office/virtual environment.
