Job Title: Aircraft Structural Technician

Job Overview:
Join Cessna's dedicated Aircraft Services Team, where we redefine excellence in aviation engineering. As a pivotal member of our Aircraft Customization division, you will engage in a range of essential tasks including aircraft installations, inspections, fabrication, and modifications, ensuring compliance with relevant data and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Aircraft Structural Technician, your duties will include:
1. Disassembling and reassembling aircraft, conducting scheduled inspections, and addressing Alert Service Bulletins.
2. Executing major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structures, focusing on sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.
3. Fabricating mounting brackets, measuring, drilling, and modifying aircraft structures while preserving the integrity of the structure and underlying components.
4. Accurately documenting all work performed in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in basic measuring, drilling, and fabrication tasks.
- The capability to interpret detailed documents, technical manuals, and blueprints.
- Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic, specifically in structures.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An FAA Airframe Certificate is mandatory; an Airframe & Powerplant certification is advantageous.
- Previous maintenance experience on Cessna models is preferred.
- Familiarity with the necessary tooling to complete assigned tasks.
- Candidates must provide their own tools.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs, and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Good vision, with the ability to focus on minute details and identify defects.
