About the Role

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients by processing a variety of account transactions quickly, accurately, and confidentially. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to build relationships with customers to identify and offer appropriate banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cash handling functions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
  • Balance cash drawer and client service specialist transactions.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of new and existing banking products and services.
  • Discuss and assess customer financial needs to identify and offer suitable banking solutions.
  • Ensure the security of cash and funds by following safekeeping procedures and promptly accounting for transactions.
  • Identify and report any suspicious activity.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform daily tasks to maintain the integrity of the branch, including balancing ATMs, processing night deposits, and monitoring lobby rate sheets and brochures.
  • Support referral goals by identifying and referring basic banking products to the appropriate business partner.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience.
About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience in customer service, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, cash handling environment.
  • A professional demeanor at all times.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The ability to pass client service specialist training programs.
  • The ability to build relationships with customers and internal teammates.
  • The ability to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movements.
  • Critical thinking skills to provide appropriate solutions.
Work Style

This is a fully onsite role, requiring the ability to work in a branch environment.
