As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a healthy and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Facility Maintenance: Perform various cleaning tasks, including disinfecting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and removing garbage or hazardous waste.
- Equipment Operation: Operate floor-cleaning machines, buffers, wet/dry vacuums, and other equipment as needed.
- Chemical Management: Be aware of Material Safety Data Sheets information for all Housekeeping areas and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when dealing with blood and body fluids.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with all disciplines to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Adaptability: Adapt to change and be flexible when changes occur.
- Education: High school degree or equivalent required.
- Age: At least 18 years of age.
- Skills: Ability to relate well to all individuals, maintain and protect the confidentiality of information, exercise independent judgment, and make sound decisions.
