Laundry Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Operations Specialist to join our team at The GEO Group. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a clean start and advance their career in laundry management.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage the facility's laundry operations, ensuring that the equipment is operated safely and efficiently. If you have a strong background in maintenance and repair, good organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily usage of industrial washers, dryers, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adjust valves, switches, and levers to start, operate, and stop the machinery, and control the temperature of the water.
- Regularly inspect laundry equipment and report problems to the property authority.
- Repair and maintain laundry equipment to prevent downtime and minimize costs.
- Re-issue and exchange worn-out clothing as needed.
- Maintain security measures by making periodic rounds through the laundry and reporting any incidents or concerns.
- Notify the Control Center of sick-outs during counts and ensure accurate inventory records.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
- Working knowledge of business English and ability to develop clear correspondence and reports.
- Solid organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 lbs., and work with machinery.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and a United States citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
