Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Relations Representative to join our team at UF Health. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experience and ensuring that our patients and families feel welcome and supported during their visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and families
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, visitors, and staff to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution
  • Orient and support patients/families regarding hospital environment, amenities, and resources
  • Assist patients requiring treatment with arrival process, including the Welcome Kiosk in the Emergency Department and the Pre-Registration process in the Pre-Admissions areas
  • Manage lobby and waiting rooms for potential concerns
  • Participate in the hospital's provision of high-quality services, including coordinating services, providing crisis intervention, and providing community resource information
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than one (1) year use of a personal computer
  • One to two (1-2) years customer service experience
  • Basic Life Support from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or foreign language
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience in a healthcare-related industry
