Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Estimator and Project Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering precise estimates for plumbing projects, collaborating with sales teams and project managers, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Assessment: Analyze project requirements, collaborate with sales teams and project managers, and deliver precise estimates for plumbing projects, including time and cost considerations.
  • Project Diversity: Apply your expertise to a variety of project types, including commercial and industrial, to showcase your adaptability in plumbing estimating and project management.
  • Meticulous Estimation: Craft detailed project cost estimates, review project plans and specifications, research products and materials, interpret blueprints, evaluate bids, and create compelling proposals.
  • Complex Project Management: Handle projects of varying complexities with accuracy and attention to detail in your estimates.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and innovations to remain competitive in this ever-evolving field.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understand plumbing codes and specifications that may impact each project, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain well-organized records of all completed estimates in an accessible repository.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Plumbing or Mechanical Estimating / Project Management Experience: A strong foundation in plumbing estimating and project management is essential.
  • Diverse Project Portfolio: Experience with a range of project types, including commercial and industrial, to demonstrate adaptability.
  • Estimation Expertise: Proficiency in estimating plumbing project costs, crafting cost estimates, reviewing plans and specifications, researching materials, reading blueprints, evaluating bids, and preparing proposals.
  • Industry Awareness: Keeping up-to-date with current industry trends to remain competitive.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration.
  • Code and Specification Knowledge: Familiarity with plumbing codes and project specifications.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintaining well-organized records of completed estimates.
