Key Responsibilities- Assist medical and nursing staff with clerical and clinical support tasks
- Coordinate patient and provider schedules
- Perform clinical tasks that support patient care, including patient flow, rooming, and taking medical histories
- Contribute to the strength of our Team Medicine approach to collaborative medicine
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months experience in a medical office or clinic, or graduation from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant Program
- Ability to obtain Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) through the State of Washington, sponsored by Virginia Mason
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Associates degree or equivalent
