Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Management: Review individual adjuster work product and performance, providing coaching and career development direction to improve performance.
  • Vendor Management: Effectively control the use, work product, and expenses of outside vendors, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external customers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in Claims Adjusting: High level of expertise in all aspects of claims adjusting, including investigation, reserving, and resolution.
  • Business Acumen: Extensive knowledge of contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements, and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a business context.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people, including staff, vendors, and customers, with strong leadership skills and abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of insurance claims experience, with 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • Licensure: Current adjuster license in one or more states preferred, with a willingness to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
