As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in coaching and mentoring staff to ensure we deliver an exceptional experience to our customers while promoting the professional development of your team. You will oversee the daily operations of one of our high-volume retail locations, embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership that drives our success.

  • Team Development: Cultivate and retain a high-performing team by establishing clear benchmarks and maintaining a robust talent pipeline, ensuring the store is adequately staffed to meet all operational goals.
  • Succession Planning: Collaborate with the Regional Director to review and strategize quarterly succession plans.
  • Communication: Maintain a daily team member information board for staff and volunteers to enhance transparency and communication.
  • Coaching: Conduct regular coaching sessions with team members, tailored to their roles and performance.
  • Management Meetings: Facilitate weekly management meetings to align on goals and strategies.
  • Recruitment: Lead networking initiatives to attract and recruit team members whose skills and availability align with store needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Enhance customer loyalty through meaningful interactions, maximizing sales and service throughout the store.
  • Sales Force Proficiency: Utilize Sales Force effectively to support operational goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute critical operating procedures with precision and hold the team accountable for performance.
  • Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on analysis, experience, and sound judgment, serving as a resource for others.
  • Training and Supervision: Recruit, train, and guide employees and volunteers in customer service, store maintenance, and promotional activities.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring efficient stocking and donor relations to meet sales objectives.
  • Cross-Training: Implement cross-training programs for staff and volunteers to sustain productivity.
  • Cost Management: Oversee controllable expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Store Presentation: Ensure the store remains clean and visually appealing for customers.
  • Staffing: Hire and train personnel as needed to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop a business plan that includes marketing efforts focused on social media and events to drive interest and support store objectives.
  • Financial Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records, including banking, daily counts, audits, and inventory controls.
  • Action Items: Complete all assigned tasks from the Regional Director.
  • Professional Development: Focus on personal growth and complete all required training for ongoing development.
  • Expense Monitoring: Ensure controllable expenses do not exceed the monthly budget and accurately track employee timesheets.

The starting salary for this position is $69,500, with final compensation based on relevant experience and skills.
