Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Titanium Furnace Operator to join our team at Selmet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining titanium casting furnaces to produce high-quality castings and components for the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain titanium casting furnaces to produce castings and components
  • MIG weld electrodes for the casting process
  • Complete all tracking and documentation as required
  • Adhere to all department and company procedures and policies
  • Load molds in burnout ovens
  • Train casting helpers
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Participate in safety improvement through observations and teamwork improvement events
  • Meet established production rates consistent with quality expectations
  • Assist with general departmental clean-up
Requirements
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Production operation experience preferred
  • MIG Welding experience helpful
  • Must be able to use and understand basic computer functions
  • HS diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
Working Conditions

The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday-Thursday
Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday
