We are in search of a Healthcare Quality Improvement Consultant who possesses the ability to collaborate effectively with departmental leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, dependable, and cost-efficient healthcare services.
The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, Intense Analysis, Model for Improvement, and Six Sigma principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate and present reports focused on performance enhancement, safety, guideline adherence, and outcomes for specified areas
- Leverage data from benchmark institutions and databases to pinpoint areas for improvement
- Serve as a consultant for medical and departmental personnel regarding metrics, statistical analysis, and data visualization
- Employ quality improvement instruments such as the Model for Improvement and Lean Methodologies
- Offer guidance and education on standards necessary for regulatory compliance
- Facilitate meetings, lead committees, and manage projects as required
- Collaborate with the Quality and Outcomes department to ensure aligned methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- At least two years of clinical experience in quality or performance improvement
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
