Healthcare Quality Improvement Consultant (Registered Nurse)

We are in search of a Healthcare Quality Improvement Consultant who possesses the ability to collaborate effectively with departmental leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, dependable, and cost-efficient healthcare services.

The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, Intense Analysis, Model for Improvement, and Six Sigma principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and present reports focused on performance enhancement, safety, guideline adherence, and outcomes for specified areas
  • Leverage data from benchmark institutions and databases to pinpoint areas for improvement
  • Serve as a consultant for medical and departmental personnel regarding metrics, statistical analysis, and data visualization
  • Employ quality improvement instruments such as the Model for Improvement and Lean Methodologies
  • Offer guidance and education on standards necessary for regulatory compliance
  • Facilitate meetings, lead committees, and manage projects as required
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Outcomes department to ensure aligned methodologies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification
  • At least two years of clinical experience in quality or performance improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
