This role involves working in a hybrid ICU and Progressive Care Unit, focusing on the most medically fragile patients within our healthcare system.

Hourly Rate:
$33 - $33.99
- Executes physician directives, administers medications, initiates IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documents care in accordance with company policy and local/state/federal regulations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Evaluates patient needs and responses to the care provided.
- Utilizes sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
- Provides primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
- Collaborates with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
- Directs and mentors ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Must possess a current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
- Familiarity with quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools, with the ability to apply them to support departmental and patient care quality improvement.
