Antepartum Registered Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Antepartum Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care to antepartum maternal patients, both non-critical and critical. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, develop a plan of care, and implement and evaluate care for antepartum maternal patients.
- Provide educational materials to patients and families on care and treatments.
- Keep physicians and supervisors aware of significant information regarding the patient and family.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
- Delegate work appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice.
Requirements
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
