Position Overview:
The Platform Product Manager will play a crucial role in guiding the development and performance of our platform while mentoring Business Analysts. This position is vital in ensuring that the platform aligns with business objectives and empowers the BA team to thrive in their roles.

Work Environment: Hybrid - combining office and remote work.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $115,000 - $130,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform Oversight: Manage the development, enhancement, and upkeep of the platform to fulfill business goals and user requirements.
  • Strategic Product Development: Collaborate with the Senior Director of Product to formulate and implement product strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives and market needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to collect requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to Business Analysts, promoting their professional development and ensuring they possess the necessary tools and knowledge for success.
  • Requirements Assessment: Work closely with BAs to evaluate business requirements, ensuring accurate translation into actionable technical specifications.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor platform performance and user feedback, identifying improvement areas and implementing necessary changes.
  • Documentation and Training: Ensure thorough documentation of the platform and processes, providing training to BAs and other stakeholders as required.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to guide product development and maintain a competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product management, particularly in platform support.
  • Strong knowledge of platform development, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and product management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with a history of developing and empowering team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex business needs into technical solutions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with specific industries or technologies, such as SaaS platforms or cloud-based solutions.
  • Certification in Product Management (e.g., CPM, CSPO, SCRUM Alliance).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
