Parts Sales Specialist

The Parts Sales Specialist at Tate Branch Autoplex Carlsbad is a full-time position, with a competitive base pay plus commission opportunity in the auto industry.
About the RoleThe Parts Sales Specialist is a highly customer-oriented role, working closely with both customer service personnel and vehicle repair technicians to ensure our customers receive the necessary parts and supplies to meet their needs.
Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Help maintain an orderly shop, receiving, stocking, and cataloging of parts.
- Provide knowledgeable advice and ideas on product selection and pricing to customers.
- Process invoices, orders, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Diagnose customer needs and offer solutions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Contribute to sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Communicate closely with sales staff and other departments to ensure customer requests are handled promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Working knowledge of parts and supplies for US-made and imported light trucks and passenger cars.
- Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
- Good computer, phone, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
This role offers a competitive base salary of $45,000 to $90,000 per year, paid semi-monthly, plus commission opportunities. Additional benefits include health insurance, a discount on parts at Tate Branch Autoplex Carlsbad, and opportunities for growth and development within the organization.
