Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to enhance our Room Experience division. This team is dedicated to assisting clients in developing innovative and efficient work environments through advanced Audio Visual technologies. Collaborating with leading solution providers such as Cisco, Crestron, Genetec, Axis, Poly, VMware, Palo Alto, Microsoft, and others, we create integrated solutions that ensure optimal reliability, security, performance, and scalability. The Systems Engineer plays a vital role in the design, installation, management, and commissioning of integrated media solutions.
Core Duties
  • Designing and implementing Multimedia Audio Video (AV), Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Audio Conferencing, and Video Display Systems (VDS), from straightforward setups to intricate configurations like Video Walls and Network Operation Centers.
  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and consultants throughout the design and delivery phases.
  • Defining system requirements through needs analysis, creating bills of materials, and producing conceptual drawings and labor estimates for various projects.
  • Generating detailed system design documentation, including:
    • Audio-visual system diagrams and schematics
    • Architectural layouts and rack designs
    • Specifications for Design/Build and Bid/Build projects
    • Narratives outlining operational capabilities
  • Preparing a comprehensive bill of materials for cables and connectors post-project award, determining cable pulls, lengths, and quantities.
  • Troubleshooting programming for commercial systems.
  • Providing on-site startup assistance and debugging.
  • Offering telephone support as needed.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is deeply committed to customer success and takes pride in their work. Required qualifications include:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial AV design and large-scale AV implementation.
  • Familiarity with low voltage communication systems, including Analog and Digital Audio processing and standard and high-definition video.
  • Experience in reviewing bid documents for evaluating and preparing equipment take-offs, assessing design integrity, and defining scopes of work.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze situations using logical reasoning.
  • Proficiency in system design software such as D-Tools, Visio, or similar tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, and CTS-D, along with manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Crestron DMC-E or DMC-D).
  • Experience with unified communications video systems.
  • Familiarity with Cisco CUCM.
  • Knowledge of networking and firewall systems.
  • Extensive experience in engineering conference rooms, Webcasting, IPTV, and Streaming Video systems.
  • Experience with Crestron Core3UI/Smart Graphics.
  • Understanding of SIMPL+ and other procedural languages.
  • Strong grasp of Audio Conferencing, Video Conferencing, Audio DSPs (e.g., Biamp, QSC, BSS), Room Combination Logic, and Networking concepts.
  • Ability to interpret Audio, Video, and Control drawings, along with knowledge of Graphic Design principles.
  • Experience with HTML5 and C#.
