Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Woodlake. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dining experiences to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
  • Lead and Train Kitchen Staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.
  • Implement Food Safety and Sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Purchase and Inventory Management to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Plan and Execute Special Events and holiday functions, including menu planning and food preparation.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
  • Strong Culinary Skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills to train and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
