Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware Support
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware devices, including cameras, wireless access points, and printers.
    • Provide on-site support for hardware issues, including printer jams and network connectivity problems.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing thermal printheads.
  • Software Support
    • Assist colleagues with IT-related issues and provide training on new software applications.
    • Collaborate with vendors to resolve software-related issues and implement new software solutions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related problems, including password reset and OneDrive sync issues.
  • Project Involvement
    • Clear print queues and remap printer connections.
    • Test signal strength and performance of handheld devices.
    • Order toner and other necessary equipment and parts.
    • Liaise with vendors for on-site support and maintenance.
  • Asset Management
    • Monitor equipment usage and age, making recommendations for alternatives or replacements.
    • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to set up, debug, and train staff on software and hardware usage.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support and maintenance.
    • Skills and Qualifications
      • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure.
      • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
      • Leadership and communication skills.
    • Work Environment
      • Work from our facility/office, with potential for part-time remote work after 6 months evaluation.
