Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources Director. This role is pivotal in managing various personnel matters and assisting with payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing employee inquiries and requests.
  • Facilitate benefits enrollment for new hires.
  • Verify I-9 documentation and manage updates as necessary.
  • Assist in conducting background checks and submitting online investigation requests.
  • Perform audits of payroll and benefits programs, recommending corrective actions when needed.
  • Maintain HR spreadsheets with employee changes and process related paperwork.
  • Support the termination process and prepare performance review documentation.
  • Contribute to various research and special projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
  • Assist in the recruitment and interview process.
  • Coordinate employee discount programs by liaising with external companies.
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as directed.
  • Organize conferences by reserving venues as required.
  • Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing documents.
  • Prepare correspondence and manage new employee files.
  • Handle incoming mail and perform additional duties as assigned.
